Activities
Option 1 – Day Hike – up to 12 mile day hike on the RimRock Trail (length depends on morning departure timing). Eating lunch only on the trail. All other meals (Breakfast 1, Dinner and Breakfast 2) will be in camp.
Option 2 – Overnight Hike – Up to 12 mile hike on the Rim Rock Trail. Packing all gear, food and water in backpacks. Stopping half way to set up a trail camp for Dinner and Breakfast. All meals on the trail. All meals are the responsibility of the scout (i.e. not cooking by patrol)(some boys may be arranging to share food but no formally organized grubmaster)
There is no “half hike” offered so all scouts attending this campout will be hiking together. No scout will be allowed to stay in camp during the hike.
